The Sunshine KidsTM Foundation
We believe every kid deserves a childhood. The opportunity to be a kid. Sunshine in dark days. That’s why we’ve partnered with The SUNSHINE KIDS™. The non-profit SUNSHINE KIDS™, established in 1982, is committed to bringing sunshine to young cancer patients’ lives by providing positive group activities and emotional support, helping them do what kids are supposed to do – have fun and celebrate life. The foundation provides a variety of free programs and events for kids receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
Our 2015 Sales Convention raised over $37,000 in ticket sales for the State of Rhythm – Live! concert. In 2014 alone, the network raised nearly $1.6 million for the foundation. And in the last two decades, our network has raised over $24 million.
The Sunshine Kids look forward to the day when the Foundation will no longer need to exist. But until that day, the entire Sunshine Kids family, including Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, is dedicated to bringing joy to kids with cancer.

Desert Cancer Foundation
Desert Cancer Foundation has been helping people in the Coachella Valley after they have been diagnosed with cancer. Desert Cancer Foundation is now "completing the circle" by reaching at-risk residents early.
Desert Cancer Foundation's advance into cancer screening has been driven by the knowledge that individuals that lack financial resources frequently seek medical assistance for ongoing health problems in more advanced stages of disease. This situation habitually requires more costly treatment and often provides a less optimistic prognosis for the patient. Patients will be well served by having one agency to interact with for both cancer screening and treatment if a cancer diagnosis is made. The process will be faster and more efficient, which will allow for even earlier treatment for the patient. By reaching these individuals earlier, they will have a more positive prognosis, a better quality of life, and treatment will be less expensive.
Paint El Paseo Pink – Walk To Fight Cancer
Desert Cancer Foundation’s annual charitable walk down El Paseo raises funds for community residents who are uninsured or underinsured. This awesome event where every walker wears pink in support of breast cancer screening, diagnostic services and prevention education. All proceeds raised from Paint El Paseo Pink will benefit Desert Cancer Foundation-Suzanne Jackson Breast Cancer Fund for our Coachella Valley residents in need of necessary services.
Desert AIDS Project | Desert AIDS Walk
Since 1984, Desert AIDS Project in Palm Springs has been the Coachella Valley resource for those living with, affected by, or at-risk for HIV or AIDS. The mission of Desert AIDS Project/D.A.P is to enhance and promote the health and well-being of our community.
For 30 years and 31 Desert AIDS Walks, the Coachella Valley community has united together to raise funds for the fight to end HIV/AIDS. Desert AIDS Project has grown from the small group of volunteers who founded D.A.P. in 1984 to one of the most comprehensive and respected AIDS service providers in the country.
