IRVINE, CA (October 7, 2014) – Coachella Valley brokerage to operate as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, part of the HSF Affiliates LLC family of real estate brokerage franchise networks, today announced that Prudential California Realty has joined the network and is operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties.
The full-service brokerage, founded in 1986 by Broker/Owners Hank and Louise Hampton, joins a growing list of affiliates that has transitioned to the network since September 2013. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices now counts nearly 34,000 agents and 1,034 offices operating in 47 states.
"We are excited to bring the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices name to the Coachella Valley," said Hank Hampton. "We believe the brand will resonate well with all types of real estate consumers, from entry-level buyers to those seeking the grandest of properties."
Louise Hampton described the brand as a "game-changer" for local real estate. "Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices' namesake is Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., one of the world's most trusted and respected corporations," she said. "The brand will provide our team with even more distinction in the marketplace – it's a true door-opener."
California Properties serves the greater Coachella Valley with more than 50 agents. The brokerage has a proud legacy of quality service and local-market expertise, starting with its ownership team. Industry veteran Hank Hampton guides the firm with experience and leadership. Louise Hampton is a 27-Year Legend at Prudential Real Estate, which represents the network's highest annual sales production. She is also the network's longest-running Legend.
With the transition, California Properties agents gain access to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices' Global Network Platform, a robust suite of real estate tools and resources, in addition to the network's professional education, business consultation and the exclusive Luxury Collection program that adds marketing clout for high-end listings. Resources include powerful lead generation, a handy mobile app, and other tools powered by the cleanest, most accurate real estate data available.
"Our new tool suite will extend the reach and efficiency of our agents," said agent Henry Hampton, who oversees the brokerage's technology platform. "Our entire team is eager to start using these resources."
California Properties will commemorate its brand transition today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration at its Palm Springs headquarters. The brokerage's new Cabernet and White yard signs begin appearing today throughout the Coachella Valley.
Stephen Phillips, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, applauded the brokerage's transition. "We're proud to welcome the Hampton family and their terrific company to our network," he said. "They will be fine ambassadors of our brand."
